CHEMO #3Views: 369

First let me thank everyone for their comments about my wig. I had to cut off some of it, but I managed to salvage it. It still looks okay. I can’t afford to go out and buy another one right now – bills! Cancer doesn’t make the reality of bills stop!

Anyway, I have my 3rd Chemo tomorrow, Monday the 6th and I so don’t want to go. My tumor doesn’t seem too much smaller, if any. I am so nervous about that. All this torture and no results yet. Has anyone else had their tumor shrink so slowly?

Anyway, as always, you all are my life line! I could not do this without all the love and support.

Have a happy Monday all – I will be in the trenches!

Sonia,
Hang in there girl . . . you can do this! I don’t know about the tumor shrinking . . . what does your doctor say? Don’t be afraid to ask, ask, ask.
We are here for you . . . keep talking to us :)

Big Hugs,
Wendy

Hi Sonia,

I am sure your tumor is shrinking. Please ask your Doctor. My sister had the same size tumor. They did the chemo first. I know that your chemo won’t be in vain. When I was studying accupuncture in school, the chinese believe that the patient has to believe in the care they are receiving as much as the Doctor. Deepok Chopra has a great book Mind Body Medicine. He believes the same with the patient visualizing white snow blasting your tumor. Believe and visualize. Stay strong Sonia.

Sonia,
I will be praying for you today on your third chemo going smoothly. I get frustrated with my tumor, too. We go through a big deal of suffering with chemo, and we want to see the results! I am actually thinking about going to Reiki sessions as alternative treatment. Let you know how that goes.

Hugs,
Yuyu

I have caught my beard on fire a time or two. Nasty odor and very uncomfortable. But trim it up and nobody knows the difference.

I pray for you and your slow moving tumors. Maybe shrinkage takes a moment or ten. Keep doing what feels right and now your loved.

Blessings
Mac

Hang in there Sonia….your tumor IS shrinking and it WILL be gone….God totally has your back on this one….he’s got you covered….believe in yourself and nothing can stop you….chemo smeamo I fricken hated chemo….but its going to help you shrink your tumor and its going to make you better. I think of you everytime I make my green lemonade and I say a little prayer and sending good vibes your way always…stay tough
Sharon

My dear Sonia; I can only imagine how you are feeling. Walking into chemo, with a hate on. Make sure you talk to the Dr.s and tell them you want to know the odds and what is the normal rate of shrinkage on your type of chemo. You really need more information so that you can come out or go in feeling more posititve than you are. This is hard stuff and it will only be at the hands of your Dr.’s who can help you in the day by day understanding of what is happening with the changes. Keep at them you know how to do that. Think of yourself as the only patient they have. Good luck and get some needed rest.
Weezie
