It has begun. Love is being tested; friendships are growing stronger, strength I am regaining and this is just my inauguration.

It’s sunk in now, and the shock is slowly wearing off. My time has come and I must face this head on with a strength I never thought I would have to utilize. I was saving it, for what I know not of, or at least I didn’t until this moment.

There is a power inside me that hadn’t surfaced before. It’s there now and I know it will guide me through this.

I want to thank everyone for their kind messages. When I get through this, I want to meet each of you and thank you in person. Your words are like a warm blanket on the coldest day of my life.

Sonia; not quite sure where you are in your journey? Are you still on chemo and if so when does it end? You sound great, but just wondering what your side effects were like? You have been through quite the ride but sound rather upbeat. I guess you have some wonderful friends and family. Please share. Great to hear you are doing so well. Weezie

That strength is more than you can imagine.

XOXO

Hi, Sonia!

Thank you for your comment. I can so relate to your blogs, my shock is wearing off too, and I am starting to realize that this is my battle, no one can fight it for me as much as I want somebody else to take over this fight.

I am really glad to get to know you, someone who is in a similar situation. My diagnosis is also IDC. It’s interesting that my surgeon never menti0oned about doing Chemo first. I definitely need to get second opinions.

I hope you’ll have a great week, and please let’s keep in touch.

Hi Sonia,

My prayers are with you. I just finished my treatment. My girlfriends are doing a fundraiser on Chipin.com. It is a great way for your friends and family to help you with your medical and living expenses.

Kathleen
