I went away for a weekend to Lake Tahoe. The I traveled on a Gondola and a ski lift 9,000 feet up Heavenly Mountain and ZIP Lined Down. Me and 6 of my friends -we call ourselves THE BUCKET CLUB, rented a Chalet for a few days and had so much fun! My Bucket Club formed when the Dr’s told me I had 3-6 months to live. My boss at work asked me to make a list of everything I want to do – hence The Bucket Club was formed. I also went fishing, 4 wheeling up the Rubicon and Jet Skiing. A fun filled weekend with great friends!
Our next adventure is Zip Lining over11 waterfalls in Costa Rica!
Lots of love,
Lisa
Wow! That looks frightening but exhilarating. Glad to hear you are enjoying. Continue posting your adventures. I like to pretend I would be brave enough to try some of that stuff.
I think I’m headed back up your way to go skydiving in Davis next month. You should come along!

I haven’t been giving a time frame but I too have started a bucket list which consists of a cruise and a boob job…........lol I’m not hard to please..hehehe
Sonia-
Great to see you out and experiencing the good times again.
I’m so looking foward to July 23rd. You’re still going right?
I think about you all the time…good luck with my friend.

Sonia; Have I missed something here? What do you mean 3 – 6 months? I thought everything was working? OMG I guess I haven’t been paying attention. I love that you are freeing yourself, trying to do the things you never have done before. I would be totally scared, ( I hate heights), so I would be down in an open air pub watching you do these magnificent feats. Isn’t it wonderful to have friends, who are available to do this with. Not many of us can gather such a group at the same time. So many people live hectic and planned lives. You are very fortunate to have had that wonderful trip and planning on others. YOu know I am praying for you, for a miracle, for God’s blessings that he spares you for many years to come. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
Please keep us posted on your bucketeering.
Weezie
you go girl live while you have the time.
Sonia,
You are AWESOME. That’s about all I can say. You’ve truly opened my eyes to what it means to grab life by the b… horns. I just think your courage and spunk is what sometimes surprises others who can’t contemplate what they’d do if they were in the same situation… like myself! I KNOW I would not be able to gather the will to go out and live each day to its fullest potential. Maybe if that day does come for me, I will think of you and will try to follow in your brave footsteps. You are amazing. Keep it up! My thoughts are with you.
Sonia,
Good for you!! Now that is living large girl.
